Gameforlife internet superstar Josh Miller wants me to wait until he can get a press pack for the upcoming comic release that we've been working on.
Well SCREW THAT!
Boys ang Girls of America, the uncharted backwaters of the Canadas, and everywhere else that has interweb access; I give you: Some colored panels!
Instead of going with the (much) easier vector word bubbles which Josh had originally wanted me to do, I'm hand drawing all of them.
Yes thats right, every, damn, speech bubble.
At least he didn't ask me to make a custom font or something like that...
Same goes word boxes, all done by hand. As you can see this approach works much better with the art style then a translucent vector bubble would.
And oh god, I just realized I've devoted an entire blog to talking about speech bubbles...
Well, if talk of freeware fonts and vector imaging doesn't excite you, at least enjoy the pretty, pretty art...
